Plate B. Further evidence of manufacture includes kiln furniture and wasters, including this slip-incised ware with a trivet fixed to the interior, and other trivets (catalogue #12-13).
Plate C. Slip-painted ware, red clay body, overall white clay slip, slip -painted in iron-oxide rich red and manganese-oxide rich black slip paints, overall colourless lead glaze. Note how the slip-painted has been further modified by incision, which seems to be a peculiarity of Samarqand products (catalogue #159).
